Art Residency

Residencies at Maah Space are invitations made to an artist to work on a project or develop new ideas. Artists often use them to explore their work outside of their usual context and explore exmerimental urges. The residency includes access to studio space and all its equipments.

The resident artists are encouraged (not binding) to culminate their residency with a showing or an informal presentation of the work created during the time at the studio space.

Artists are expected to offer community classes at the studio space and engage in outreach programs.

Rajendra Panchal

A process oriented residency by Rajendra Panchal with students of theatre and dance that looked at holistic training of the body, sound & soul.

Rohit Agarwal

Rainbow in the night sky is a devised theatrical performance that tries to find its conception around the questions of gender and identity. Developed by resident artist Rohit Agarwal, in collaboration with Smriti Chopra.

An exhibition of a journey of explorative mixed media works that draws parallel between the ever changing landscape of our bodies and nature.
