Move Your City is a site-specific movement-based interactive experience designed for public spaces. It is an audio guided experience encouraging participants to be actively involved. This edition takes us through a train ride on the Jaipur metro. Revealing in it's process, the unseen sights and sounds of the city, a body's relationship to the space it inhabits and a flight of our own imagination.

Move your city began as a search for movement beyond the confines of a studio. How could dance/movement occupy more space, how could it engage more inclusively with the public. How can we use our bodies to reclaim public spaces and bring forth the stories that these spaces hold. And how these engagements can spark a dialogue about the inclusivity and accessibility in public spaces for various communities, genders, ages. How do we expand the radius of comfortable spaces? How does it feel to find a sense of freedom in our bodies as we occupy public spaces?

The audio and explorations are designed specifically responding to the space that the participants are inhabiting, its history, its topography and architecture, its relevance in current times and its importance in the community it belongs to. The purpose is for the participants to have a multi-sensorial experience of the space they are in, through dance/words/activities/walks/movements.
