About the event
Inspired by the Stitch & Bitch sessions held by women during the WWII, we decided to get together, at leisure, and talk about things that matter, while we mend clothes that have been sitting around in our closet for months or years, to make them usable again! Bring that torn dress, that shirt with the broken button or the applique that’s falling out of the cusion cover. Bring your Self, that is torn down by society everytime you try to rise, and mend your self with the support of others like you. This space is for everyone who needs to open up, listen, mend and stitch what's torn around and within. Share anecdotes, stories, thoughts, opinions about what is most important to you and bitch about the patriarchy to your heart's content, accompanied with & encouraged by the super amazing women of the 'Pinkcity Feminist Community'.
